PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Dear School Community,

At Sirius College, all the staff members work hard to make sure that we provide quality education to the students. In this regard, we always seek parents’ and other community members’ constructive feedback so that we can improve our services and maximize the students’ learning at school. Concerns and complaints are best and most effectively managed initially with positive teacher and parent communication.

How to raise an issue

The homeroom teacher should always be your first point of contact. Our school needs to know if you have any concerns about your child’s education or social/emotional learning. Teaching and learning works best when parents and teachers talk to each other and work together to solve any problems. Whether you are raising a concern, paying a compliment or making a complaint, your input is the key to improving our services.

When contacting the school

Any appointments to speak with school staff should be arranged through the school office.

You may also go via our college website to provide feedback, raise a concern or complaint, or to provide a compliment through:

http://www.sirius.vic.edu.au/community/feedback/

We provide a structured procedure to resolve the complaints, or to revise our operation based on concerns, as well as to acknowledge the success of the school or employees.
